Smallholder farmers in Kenya are tracking their crops from farm to buyer via a smartphone application built by Anteja, which allows them to see demand, pricing and destination. Using blockchain technology, the application promotes transparency in their market and equally allows end consumers to scan a bar code to view see the journey their avocados, runner beans and other produce made to the table.
