The World Bee Project works to reverse the decline of bees by partnering with smallholder farmers and local beekeepers to promote things like sustainable planting practices. It’s also using technology to better understand these vital pollinators. Connected devices placed near beehives monitor temperature and sound, and generate data that helps reveal the bees’ behaviour and habits — whether they are buzzing in London or swarming in sub-Sahara Africa.
